Helpful Links for City Life

This list is ever-growing, but here are some links that I think are great for anyone living in the 5 boroughs:

311 – a city of New York site with answers to all kinds of questions (renting, education, services, health…the list goes on!)

MTA – the full 411 on moving around the city and the TriState area

HopStop – how to get where you’re going

Craigslist – every type of classified listing (apartments, jobs, personals, events, etc)

MenuPages – menus and restuarant info from tons of NYC eateries

OpenTable – a place to make reservations and find deals at a bevy of city restaurants

LMagazine – current events in NYC

MeetUp – a site to find people with common interests and all types of activities

Curbed – a real estate blog that will give you an in-depth look and varying opinions about the neighborhoods NYC.  Plus find listings here!  (Psst…if you don’t live in NYC, curbed features other US cities, as well.)

Are there any sites you couldn’t live without?  Sites that make living in the city just a little bit easier?  Share, share, share!

Note:  I have not been compensated in any way for the above listings.  These are simply sites I enjoy, that I wanted to share.
